Number of ounces of A/C oil?

Wondering if anyone out there happens to know how many ounces of PAG oil is used in the Viper's Air Conditioning system? It specifies 1.81 lbs of R-134a, and the PAG oil part number... but doesnt specify the number of ounces, ANYWHERE!!! At least not that I could find...

In my '97 it's 850 grams / 30 oz / 1.88 lbs of R-134a refrigerant and 140 ml / 4.75 oz of ND8PAG oil for the total system.

(Just had it done after having to replace all the O-rings! It took 2 hours to renew it properly via the air-con service machine).

NADINE- THANKS! at least I have a place to start now. However, would you be able to tell me where abouts in you manual it listed that info? perhaps I overlooked it in the 2002 manual.

Final GTS...for a 2002 your sure do alot of maint..Get out there and DRIVE.

DUDE! I put 6500 miles on the car in 4 MONTHS! Trust me, I DO DRIVE IT. No garage queen here.

Almost all of my maintenance I do to my car is directly related to upgrades. In this case, I needed to remove the condensor for the installation of my cooling and oil system upgrades.

As a result of upgrades and not a garage queen...way to go.

It was listed in my bible on sec 24 heating and air con, about the 4th page. I had to browse the whole section to get the info I needed, (in some places it goes into way too much 'fluffy' detail)!
