Hey Guys,
Here are the final and confirmed times for Tobey Beach Car Show on Sunday April 10th. Everyone is welcomed. We are looking at a sunny day and temps into the high 50's. Might be a bit cooler by the beach. So far about 15 vipers are scheduled for this. I'm sure by the end of the week we'll have an easy 20+ vipers. Also several Vettes will be joining us for the caravan from NYC.. Rumors are going around regarding cops and tickets. I think we'll be fine as long as we keep it down on Ocean Pkwy. That goes for you too TwinVipers
New Jersey and Vipers coming from the West and South over the Lincoln Tunnel.
First meeting spot will be at 8:30am in Manhattan. The usual spot is 34th St. and 1st Ave. From there we will take the Queens Bridge onto the Long Island Expy
Second Meeting Spot For CT, Upstate and Long Island Vipers
9:30AM Carvel Ice Cream parking lot off Exit 51 on the Long Island Expwy. This is the Deer Park Avenue exit. The lot is about 2 miles south of the LIE(495). Carvel is on the right hand side.
If you are coming over the Whitestone or Throngs Neck Bridges take Cross Island South to 495 or Long Island Expwy. Take The LIE to exit 51. Get off exit and make right at the FIRST Light. Take that road (231 or Deer Park Ave) south for about 2 miles. Carvel is on the right hand side.
For everyone else that just want to meet at Tobey Beach.
Tobey beach is located east of Jones Beach State park and west of Robert Moses and Captree state parks.
Please try to be on time if you like to participate in the caravan.
