Anthony, sad but true, the process could take 2-3 MONTHS to get you your ID card, since they are only ordered quarterly. Rest assured that your MEMBERSHIP is activated quickly, and your Viper magazine subscription activated immediately. If you NEEDED your member number to "prove up" vor a Viper days or VCA event, HQ can tell you taht almost immediately. VP Joe Houss gets a new database before every VCA Notes, so you could get the next issue unless you just missed his update.

But THANKS for your support, and I hope you enjoy those CRAZY RACIN' Texans in Team Texas of the VCA !

Anthony, I imagine VCA HDQ has their hands FULL at this time of the year with the startup of "renewal time", the ongoing Red Cross project, etc...as JonB has noted, it may take awhile.

In the Ind/Ky Region we ENCOURAGE folks to contact one of the officers AS SOON AS one sends in the forms and fees to National...then we can IMMEDIATELY add the person to the data base, and the person will get ALL the mailings and event invitations at the same time as the older members. We uslally send out several of the past month's newsletters at the time of the welcome.

I'm guessing the same is true in all the other Regions as well. contact an officer and get the ball rolling before the weather changes!!
