Let me start my very first post by recognizing Brett and the entire Ala/Tenn VCA for your hospitality, patience, new friendship as well as setting a great agenda. I can only imagine the effort required to pull off such a well attended event, I will simply say well done and thank you! It was great to meet many of the enthusiasts attending from other states, my only regret was not being able to meet everyone. Chip thanks for making us feel welcome, Steve/Mike/Matt for allowing us to tag along with the lead pack. Kevin/Anil for coming to retrieve us from Clingsmans Dome Friday morning as we were waiting for the rest of the group to arrive not knowing that there was a change in plans, you know what, we may have still been there waiting.....and Kevin, when you engineer the new GoPro mounts, I am all in! By the way, I am still smiling about your GoPro tether . I have a photo that you will love and will forward to you soon. Ron thanks for setting up the parking for us I enjoyed our time together (Hope your brother is doing better) and am glad you liked the pics. I have a vid or two for you when we followed you in the fog that I will post for your viewng pleasure later this week.

I can't adequately express how much fun my son and I had for those 2 and 1/2 days, and it really makes you think that as great as the cars are and the fun we have in driving them, this event was a perfect example that owning a Viper is all of that but its much more about the people that you meet and the friendships you make. I already have saved the dates for next year and I plan to arrive a day earlier and leave a day later. Getting to know those I met better and meet those I did not have a chance to meet.

I will also share my experience with our Central/North Florida VCA members in the near future and see if we can get a group to join in the fun in 2013.

I am learning the in and outs of video editing, and will update some videos as I do. I have a few hours of video and there is some good stuff on them, I just need to **** through them. In the meantime, here a couple and I will post more later this week.

The vids are good, but the one I'm waiting on is the one through the foothills pkwy and the ensuing "situation" right after.

I'm having some issues with my videos from the track this past weekend also. It says it transferred all 23:09 of one session to imovie, but only 14:58 is actually there. Tried it 3 times and it keeps doing the same thing. Frustrating.

Thanks Chuck for the pics and vids!! That was a great time! Really nice meeting you and your son Michael. Like you the date has been saved for next year for sure!! Ditto to the AL/TN group for putting on this event and having it planned out so well. Great bunch of people represented at this event. Makes the VIPER NATION even more special in my opinion! Although, one issue I have is I am spending way to much on fuel searching for some roads, any roads that can give me just a tast of what we ran up there here in flat Louisiana Like a ******, need...more....curves.....hillls May need to check out the NOLA Motor Sport park that just opened here to feed my addiction!! Talk to ya soon.

P.S. Thanks for prayers and thoughts for my brother Michael. Not doing to well righ now. Hope it can be worked out by the docs.
