3ft won't be enough.

For my Gen III, the lengths of my recently built AN oil cooler lines are 16.5" and 22.5" (I added 1" from the OEM line length just in case). The 90 degree fittings add an extra 1" or 2", but of course don't count as line length. Anyway, my total for both hoses is 39". Lines are sitting in my garage right now. Let me know if you need some pics.

My $0.02

not counting the fittings.

i ordered 3 feet stainless from aeroquip. got the length from a srt ram so i want to double check before i cut.

it is a gen 3. i think fittings are extra 4 inch each.

I did mine a couple months ago (2005 Gen3). I started with two 2-foot lengths and cut to fit after installing the engine side fitting and checking for length. As stated above, one of the lines (from the forward oil cooler fitting) is just a tad short of two feet, so three feet is not enough. On the V10 trucks, I believe 3 feet is good to go, but the position of the cooler with respect to the engine is different on a Viper (car).
Luckily (or by design), the oil cooler fittings on the block are very close to the center line of the engine mounts, so not much movement even while the engine rocks on its mounts.
