oil filter Question????

i just returned my k&n oil filter for a mobil 1 and i got the m1-204, that is correct right? thanks

Thats correct on the Mobil 1. I use the k& n- HP2004,get for under $9.

<<We are a dealer so we use the Mopar filters I have heard that the K&N and Mobil1 filters filter to a much smaller micron. The down side of this is that they plug sooner and the bypass opens, then you get no filtering. All we use on the racecars, and streetcars here are the Mopar filters or WIX filters.

On matters that seem to involve a lot of opinions, I just go with whatever Tator, Woodhouse or Tom Sessions recommend. They are 2 of the best known Viper techs (and 1 Wizard ) so I listen to them on matters like this

The K&N and Mobil 1 filter are BOTH primium oil filters with the same *** micron filtering.

They are BOTH made by Champion Labs

EITHER is a good choice, but like everything else, each has its loyal following.

I have used both. I like the K&N because it has that cool little thingy on the end which allows you to use a wrench to loosen/tighten it.
