I finally got to put some miles on my new coupe this weekend and I now understand why I love this car so much. After many Vettes, Porsche and a Ford (mistake)...I finally understand why the Viper is a Love/Hate decision.
This car feels like a second skin to me now. NONE of my Vettes ever felt this way...the Porsche was close but not like the Viper. With the Vette you always have that Vette engineer riding shotgun with you. You never really DIRECTLY connect to the Vette, you are there for the ride...fun though it may be. With the Viper, it's you and the car...no disconnect. I love it!!!
People who are looking for a nice RIDE will not like the Viper. This car is made to be DRIVEN. No wonder there are so many Vipers for sale with less than 3k miles. If you bought this car just to look good, you would get tired of it about 2500 miles. If you bought this car to DRIVE it, you will never stop smiling...I haven't
