So, I came across pics of a member's '98 GTS Hennessey 600 (I know, I know:mad:), and just wondered what the motor is "supposed" to have that woud bring a stock HP rating of 450 up to its "claimed" 600?

Hopefully, this won't get the usual commentary on Him:nono:, just my mechanical curiousity!

Thanks!

Its just headwork and 1.7's, cam and headers. I believe the 650s got bigger TBs and port-matched intake and a couple other doo-dads. Seemed like magic at the time but today 600 RW is available through pretty much the same means, Greg Good heads, the right cam and the right exhaust to make it breathe and you're in the upper 500's RW.

....that what was meant by doo dads. CF airbox, alum radiator, etc etc. The key performance stuff (on the cars that he actually did correctly) is heads/cam/exhaust.
