Okay Vipermed I guess I\'m the first!

Oh Boy...Whew

Well after talking to Scott at Vipersbyelite over the past month about this new louvered hood design he was making I decided after seeing the pictures that I would be the first. My original thoughts were to add to my gen 1 hood with louvers and naca duct cut in but after talking to Chuck Tator and several other autobody experts I decided that it was cost prohibitive. So I said what the heck!


WISH ME LUCK................ I bet that its going to look real tough in BLACK with Silver striping

Are you going to do factory type stripes or angle them to complement the hood contour?

I'm not sure whether I should keep some aspect of the 96 rt/10 striping ala Teardrop or go with gts style or?

Actually Adam, I believe they are considered sabretooth, Wizard? Hood will look outstanding, take many shots please.

Hey Adam,

That is a wicked looking hood! Should look kick butt on your car and compliment the rest of the nice touches on your car well. Can't wait to see pics of it on your machine.

Thanks Ed. I spoke to my autobody shop and they won't be ready for about three weeks so I am having Scott ship first week in June and installing painting and striping second week of June. Will post pics of hood as well as new autoform splitter I'll be installing at the same time. Even this should make those yellow viper guys grin with envy! Also Picked up polished Daytona style gas filler cap, should accent nicely.

Either way adam that stripe jom is gonna be one ***** of a job
Cant wait to see the finished product.
My vote's for the 96 stripe version (cause it's different)

thanks Joe, I'll post when finished in about 3-4 weeks. should look great. Now all I have to decide is which way to go on the striping. Anbody have any suggestions on whether to keep rt look or go more agressive with GTS stly stripes/

Well I think I'll go with the striping down through front facia and through the autoform splitter I just got as well.
And in the rear I'll extend through the rear bumper. What the heack might as well go for the Gusto.

You got it. I'm mounting the splitter this week and the Daytona style gas cap with sneaky pete logo. I'm having it powder coated black on the outline with a red eye. Should be nice. The hood and striping wont be done for about 4 weeks.
