I'm thinking of haveing my Black with silver stripes, Venom 600 RT/10 painted. Black is to much like a full time job. I'm thinking about Dupont Purple Rain with red pearl. Has anybody seen Vipers in other colors besides factory that look good?

Is Purple Rain a Chroallusion paint? If so, I might have a picture that I can send you. The car that I am thinking of is a lighter purple. Let me know if you want the picture. Whatever you pick, it sounds like it will look pretty radical.

I don't think "Purple Rain" belongs to Dupont, but I will check my books. The "ChromaLusion" Dupont Purples are:
Mystic Purpleen
Coarse Purpleen
Absolute Purpleen - main color or center of the Purpleen spectrum
Aqua Purpleen
Green Purpleen
Rosy Purpleen

They have come out with numerous new shades this last year so Purple Rain may be one of the newer ones and I missed it.

Lee Congrats on the Dupont, Top Gun '94 award! Heck of an accomplishment.

No, Dupont Purple Rain isn't one of the Chromalusion colors. It's been around since the early 90's. But the red pearl really sets it off.
