Paint/soft top question

I have noticed that paint from my trunk lid has rubbed off onto the rear sides of my soft top. The point where the trunk lid contacts the soft top when it is up. Does anyone else have this problem? I am afraid to show it to them at the dealer for the fear of them trying to adjust something and screwing it up. It appears minor right now but I don't want to run into paint problems down the road.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hmmm...I have a definite crease in the soft top from the trunk lid.
Just out of curiosity what color is your car? Mine is red so the paint shows very well on the black top, as would yellow...of course black paint will not show and silver may not show well either.

I have a crease (or mark?) on the canvas, as does every single SRT I have ever seen. My car is white, though I do not have any paint which has transferred over. There is a metal edge on the front of the trunk lid where this contact takes place, I would not expect any problems once the paint is "finished" wearing off- assuming it doesnt stain the top. I am sure Dodge will replace the top fabric if it cannot be removed.

I think we all have the crease. No paint yet though, but hard to tell with black on black.

I have the same crease and I was worried that metal may be touching the fabric and may cause damage to the canvas top down the road. I took a small diameter soft plastic tubing and slit it lengthwise and slid it over the metal at the contact area and eliminated any potential metal to canvas contact. It stays in place on its own and gives me peace of mind and cost only a few pennies.

Sounds like a little door guard moulding would do the trick (similar to the recommendation years ago of putting the moulding on the bottom of the facia in our Gen2's)
