Many of you recognize the daunting challenges that were involved in bringing the Viper back from extinction, and appreciate the passion and monumental effort of a very small core group of hard-core enthusiasts at SRT. What they've accomplished is nothing short of amazing by any measure, and while they've created a spectacular car, the story of how successful it will become is still being written.

I've been in contact with Ralph and the plant's manager over the last few months as they've helped get a TA allocated for me, and Canada's only Black TA is now rolling down the line. I'll be expressing my gratitude for the efforts of several at CAAP that helped make this possible over the next couple of weeks. I'm sure they appreciate feedback from their customers and prospective buyers, and if any forum members or guests would like me to pass on their messages of support by email I'd be happy to include theirs with mine.

Bruce, I finally have a reason for posting, thanks to you. Been obsessed since 1996.

I read your post and have more than just a word of encouragement for the guys at SRT. If you would, I would love to have a letter of appreciation passed on to those guys.

Thank you for this.

Softbutter, that sounds interesting! I'd be happy to...please send it to me in an email. I know for a fact that they read and appreciate getting letters of support, and forward them around to others in the SRT team.

Bruce, tell Ralph to reward the Viper faithful by making only 100 factory supercharged Vipers next year with the promise that current Gen V owners will have access to them first. Not only would they be sold out before they were produced, they would truly be collectable.

Good evening to all. I very seldom send posts of this nature unless I am passionate and committed to a cause. I was the proud owner of a 2009 Z06 corvette that until 4 months ago was the crown jewel of my garage UNTIL I sold it to purchase my white 2014 GTS Viper. I decided to sell my vette once I saw this redesigned beauty. What the SRT team did to an incredible classic, which dates back to the early 1990s, it's simply amazing. Simply put the new viper has the sexiest and most aggressive lines of any sports car out there period!

My vette went through a remarkable transformation as I never felt it had the right look inside and out and felt its power and torque were left at the margins so owners could tweak and **** as their hearts desired. As I sit and admire my GTS Viper I can't seem to think what an amazing and beautiful work of art it is. SRT has done what many companies try but often fail to achieve which is to revive a classic in every sense of the word and what I call the quintessential true American soul. Not only its looks, the precise carbon fiber used in optimal key parts, the clamshell hood, the classic side exhausts, the beautiful interior, the incredible torque, sound, and firm handshake I get from the perfectly round sized shifter every time I switch gears. This beauty does not need pimping nor retooling it's perfect in every sense of the word.

The Viper it's NOT for everyone and I like to fact that I am the only one in my area that has one or at least it seems to be the case. The amount of attention and thumbs up I get when I drive it just solidifies and proves this is a classic reborn and one that I would chose over any German and / or Italian sports car any day! Let Ralph and his team know that I support and validate their incredible craftsmanship and to prove it I also own a 2014 grand cherokee SRT!

America torque, power, and SRT rules. Thank you.

Dear Ralph and Team SRT:

Thank you for creating a car for those who wish to do as opposed to a car for those who don't without massive computer help from the car. It was a brave mission to take on and complete. But you did so with an inspired design and superb engineering. Your heart, soul and dreams show in the car. All anyone has to do is look at it slowly and carefully and drive it at speed to see and feel the presence of the spirit of SRT. The same spirit that is at the center of the traditional power and freedom of America. Self reliance, strength, durability and the ability to stay the course. Bravo.

Best,

Bob

That is the best suggestion I have heard to save the Viper.Super Charged factory Gen.5 ,they would sell all they could make.I would buy one immediately....

Yes,Ralph Gilles and the Viper Team should be commended for saving the Viper. But,now move on and unlock that computer, add HP or at least provide SRT aftermarket high performance parts for the Gen.5.
