After a 4th gear pull on the interstate a few days ago my GENIII Paxton Coupe started a misfire. After the interstate pull I limped a few miles home. When I popped the hood, the front plug wire on the passenger side was off. No check engine lights came on at all. I put the plug wire back on and the car still had the misfire. I pulled the plug and it looked fine and is still putting out plenty of spark.
Of my guages, the air/fuel gauge is reading a perfect mix, but the fuel pressure gauge is reading in the green also, but its a digital gauge and every now and then will just have the 3 dashes instead of a number. ---
Once the misfire started the smell of exhaust became much stronger and the car started to backfire on the passenger side some on my way home.
Any idea's?
