ahh....well I thought about it a moment and recalled you disappearing in my rear view mirror and said to myself "oh, that was an easy ant to squash.".....but with all the BIG TALK last week I didn't think you would be one to give up and start de-modding the car this quickly


I would have hit you with the genII/genIII difference if you had told me it was from the gen II....obviously, once again I have underestimated your extensive "viper knowledge" you are pretty smart, your car is slow...but you are smart

I remember that...wasn't it one of two custom painted cars or something?

Also DC performance has that chromoly steel flywheel that is 2 pounds heavier than the fidanza...so it's still lightweight and maybe safer? we always have lots of options

With more mods and a soon to be BLOWN motor (not the kind one has from boosting it, but the kind one gets from OVER boosting), you should be sooo proud of yourself for this supposed win. Althouh I do remember blasting it with Mike and he did pull me, I dont remember blasting it with you. But when someone runs thier car lean, it certainly makes it mean.... congrats on the win.. I'll stop by and see if you want to race me in your sneakers in a few weeks/months when the tic.. tic... tick.. goes to KABOOM..

BTW, why wont any of you stop light dig with me? Is that because all you can do is mash a go pedal WOT, and not really modulate this power? Your 3rd and 4th gear pulls leave me yawning.. how about something that takes work and skill... like lauching a viper from a dig.... thats right.. I'd own you then..

BTW, DLM told me that his 3.5" pulley is good for about 1 to 1.5 lbs extra boost. That might not be "too" much, but I am no expert. The one's advertised at 10lb pulleys are 3.33" or 3.25".

back on topic. I actually feel that this pulley is perfectly safe as long as the tune is right. I didn't just bolt the pulley on and go, I made sure the tune was ok and I was comfortable with the air fuel mixture before I went out and pounded on it...and I'm running race gas.

Buttonwillow is about 1/2 way between LA and the Bay.

Green Flag does a neat driving event there on the weekend after Thanksgiving, and the weather is cooler then too.

Jon 2002 GTS ACR and me are going to try and hit Buttonwillow. Hopefully soon, but its going to start getting hot there. I used to race there in june/july, it *****, especially with a suit on. So as much as i hate to wait, maybe we will see you in November.

You guys want to have some real fun, come down to So Cal and run the "roval" at CA speedway on Nov 22 and 23. Speed Ventures puts this event on and you get to run the infield plus about 1/2 of the Nascar Oval.

You will easily get to 150 mph in the front straight, more if you have the balls for it and then you get to make a fast left hand sweeper, dropping down to about 130 and then accellerating out of it back up to 150 before you turn 90 degress left into the infield.

This one separates the men from the boys.

Also, Viper Days runs at Willow Springs on Sept 12, 13 and 14. This is one of the best events for Vipers in CA.

I have done my 15 years of racing and just want to relax with the occasional spirited drive. But I will be down to put some cash on the line for 2 identical vipers in the quarter... just cause you threw money at a car to make it go fast... doesn't mean anything on the road... hey... by the way... watch out for the CHP in the mountains!!

I'll make this a short list, but rest assured, I'll quickly and easily burry you with my extensive knowledge of cars and repairs and upgrades, much like I did the f430 specs. I personally have s/c my old gen 2 (and was one of the first DIYers), replaced clutches in them, shocks, differentials, 1/2 shaft, brakes, rotors, oil pans, accusump systems, roller rockers, flywheels, full exhaust, engine mounts, pcms, and EVEN replaced my own tires on my own rims.. yes.. i at one time had my own tire mounting equipment (read old posts). Then for fun, and just because I could, I put a 400 Small Block Chevy into a Porsche 944 S, which would single handedly eat your stock little gen 3 alive.. but yeah.. I dont know anything about these cars.. I just have a dealer do everything... (I'll urge you to try the search feature next time, your foot cant taste all that good). Oh and yes, I am the only one who changes my oil.. (some how I am guessing you get your oil checked regularly , not talking about cars at this point)

oh and these 'races' you were there? because I didn’t see ya.. I guess you were trailing somewhere in the back? With your paltry power, I'm sure it was hard keeping up with us, if you were in fact back there. I think its funny how you talk smack about someone elses power.. how come not your own? PS. While apparently Mike and Kurtis are having a field day with this, they also said you and I are too thick headed to actually admit anyone is right besides ourself. And they dont think thats going to go well towards us becoming friends... So, in the interest of friendship ...I am going to make peace and say, you 'would' be correct that the f430 only does 12s 'IF' the comb-over-driver doesnt know how to put it in launch control mode (stock feature). And then you and I can debate in person my technical expertise on vipers in person.. It'll prob be more fun then on this forum.. We'll say we tied and buy each other coffee.. deal?

That was FAST back then.. hahahha imagine that Then I went to the supra... the good ole viper killer days... hahahha i still got that video of damn Treynor putting on slicks to beat me! hahahha
