Yep, thats the McV There was some import street racing in the area and the cop saw us (my Viper, a Z06 Vette, and a couple other sports cars) in a parking lot, and decided we were the streetracers He ended up being really cool once he figured out we were just talking and not raising hell like the Hondas down the road .

Drove mine real hard yesterday past a Piggly Wiggly supermarket.

Got to 55 in nothin' flat. Only problem was a state trooper saw me do it and gave chase. When he caught up I was still doin' 55.

I waved and said hello. He shook his finger at me and drove off.

Actually, there is. "Display of power", "Improper acceleration" are one of the terms used in some states.

Yeah, I got convicted in New Jersey for Careless Driving for accelerating too loud and too fast for the officer's liking. Just be careful...cool tires, cool pavement is not like when we'd get on it in the summer.

i didnt get a pic of it, but i took the car out today since it was so nice out. of course i saw people taking pictures with cameras and cell phones as usual. it was about noon and i was getting hungry, so i started eyeballing places to eat. suddenly i look up and i see a state boy coming my way from the opposite direction, and as i pass him he does a "U-EE" and starts coming up to me from behind. i thought i was getting pulled over, so i pulled into the pizzahut lot, and sure enough, he does too. of course at this point, i am thinking */&#! hahaha

as i parked in a spot, the trooper pulled into a spot near me. come to find out he was as hungry as i was, and it to my suprise it was a friend of mine from the health club!

we had a very nice lunch together.

In Ontario, there is a law giving the officer the discretion that if HE feels that ANY part on your car is designed for race use, they can fine you AND impound your car on the spot!!

Wonder if he was eyeing that wing.....
