I really like the way the paint on the intake and valve covers turned out.

Looks great! Shining like a diamond!...What color are those stripes?
They look grey- silver in those pictures but almost looks like a tannish color in your avatar.

Beautiful car! Those are great pics, but they don't do justice to how great your car looks in person.

Have you had a chance to drive it much yet?

Steel grey on the stripes? The car looks great and I love those wheels!

Yeah, that's what I thought. In his avatar it looks more like Graphite. Would you mind telling us?
Some time ago I was playing around with the idea of stripes in Pepper Gray Metallic -> The colour used for "Eleanor", the '67 Shelby in "Gone In 60 Seconds" on a red car.

Anyways, really nice. Love it.

Not to steal Ron's thunder, but I thought I would answer this. I too thought they were graphite or steel grey but the previous owner told me that the stripes are an Audi color. The red is Ferrari red if I'm not mistaken.

Guys,

Thanks for all the kind words. The paint is not a stock Viper red. The paint is Ferrari formula 1 red and the stripes are Audi casmir mica. You can see a real difference when parked next to a stock viper.

As far as the details...

542ci
Henry Velasco billet crank
Oliver billet
GTS-R CNC heads
T&D rockers
SVSi headers
SVSi 70mm throttle bodies
SS return line fuel system
Ultrix half shafts and loops
19" HRE's 546
Wilwood 6 piston front/4 piston rear brakes
EMI/Penske shocks
EMI roll bar

Hope to take it to the dyno soon!

Your Viper is sweet!!! I have a custom blue paint job on my Viper. And it like yours looks a lot sweeter then the factory colors of red and blue. Again sweet ride!!! :headbang:

The color of the stripes really works well against the red. Engine looks awesome, I like the dark intake. The wheels really bring everything together. Car must look great in person. Nice Job.

The exhaust plate really saves the paint. Mine came from the painter, Fat Alberts, Phoenix, AZ. Most painters can make one for you too.
