Dean - Can our cast pistons handle the 150 shot? Also, do you know if the jets for N and F are the same to achieve 150 HP as they were on the LS1? With 2 TB's I would imagine they would be smaller.
Some people are running a 200+ shot on the new cast piston cars and they are fine. Considering the large 8L displacement of the Viper's V10, a 150 shot is relatively not that much. I ran a 100 wet shot on my Corvette.
What I'm more concerned about is the fuel supply and NOT running lean. Most of the wet N2O Viper applications are doing a 200 shot, but they usually have the separate propane fuel source installed. I had read that a 150 shot was fine using the gas off of the fuel rail tap.
The difference of course with the Viper is that we need a second Shark nozzle and another set of matching jets.
And then we install each nozzle in the tubes leading into the throttle bodys, with each one jetted for 75HP, resulting in a 150hp total shot.
I've been researching this for a while and looking for a better solution for the window switch (the V8 one won't work) before I install the N2O, and I'll definitely get the car dynoed when I do the install to confirm that it's not running lean.
