For the conspiracy theorists, I had repeatedly referenced the other site when I simpley could've uploaded to the gallery here! My bad!

Enjoy the pic! More to follow.

Plug the holes on the left and right. At speed, air entering through the main grill opening will flow out of those holes instead of through the intercoolers.

The slotted openings on the chin may also be a bit too far off the nose, although a splitter could help feed air to those.

Hey Paolo, I have been wanting to come down to Chicago for a while. I would love to come down and look at your beast and hang out if you wouldn't mind, would need directions though.

Hey Jay and Paolo

I posted a nice response to the original thread but it got pulled so it was all a waste... geeze left one sand pit to land in another

anyway - what i said (the shorter version) is this:

no matter what others do to imitate or compete - you can't beat a straight line... and that intake is a straight line to the turbo.... nice job!

The good thing is you don't have to **** up rocks and crap either - thathas to be good for longevity

I also commented re the intercooler and radiator arrangement - you've got that arranged better than anyone else by a country mile - great effort. You get adequate intercooling plus maximum engine cooling - a combination that will be especially important for all those wealthy arabs that need to buy your system for those middle eastern superhighways! :headbang:

seriously, I'd sponsor a TM killer engine combo for you if I had the dime just to show what your TT system can do. The last time I got excited about a serious project and sponsored it we ran a system less efficient than yours (not saying you'll make 3000hp - but you won't be running methanol and 55lb boost like we did)

Best thing is you nutted it all out Paolo for yourself - no one can take that away from you and we both know plenty laughed at the start, most behind your back of course.... you know how it goes

when you find a customer with the money and big goals - you'll have earned it and have a point to make. In the meantime - that old motor of yours should be good for a statement or two :D

Hello all, I just got in from working on the car so I will try to make it brief and go into more detail tomorrow.

First of all, I would like to thank Jay for posting the picture on this site! You are THE MAN! I appreciate it immensely. I will call you tomorrow!

Jrkermode, This is an old picture where I just had the air intake coming straight in through the front bumper. I have designed quite a few things to make for the proper aerodynamic flow since then, but never took a picture of it when it was together. These late nights are difficult, but worth it!

Hisserman, Stugots has got it right!

IEATVETS, give me a call @ 630-878-3907 and I will hook you up with some directions!

Barry, you are the best!

I always appreciate our phone conversations where we bounce ideas back and forth. I think some of the engine building ideas you have taught me about are on the cutting edge to say the least!

Hey, if you find me a rich ahrab customer, I will build in a fat comission for your time! I will give you a call tomorrow if I can ever wake up! Goodnight and thanks for all your help and continued support! :2tu:

You sure have been working hard, looking good. That ram air idea to turbos rocks!

I would block off the fog openings, as "jrkermode" said air will be pulled out, not in through them, but blank them off with a small circle of clear perspex so you can still see those **** intercoolers in there!

How's ducting / venting from behind it all, have you made any shrouding to make the most of the air flow through the rad/intercoolers, ie providing good airflow routes out, you can maximize air flow through your coolers.

Nadine, I have the ductung/shrouding taken care of. I just took everything apart and apparently never took a picture with all that put together!

Txlen, looks good, sounds good and GOOD LUCK! :2tu:

Casey, I was just wondering if you had gone in for the surgery yet. YOu have to let me know how the strapping of that thing to your chest went! ;)

I hope you can come and see everything when you are back and feeling better and have the time!

STUGOTS, I will be happy to give you a ride!

As far as the new Z06 is concerned, I will just use 1/4 of the power to one of the rear wheels and let that guy beat me my a car......... NOT!

Cool. When you recon you get to rip up asphalt with that beast this year?

Stugots and Hisserman, :2tu:

Nadine, the idea is to do ASAP. The P has just taken longer than I thought and wanted. I have also built more than I imagined I would or could when I started the project!

Isaac, I might have some more pictures out in the near future!
