Found some pictures of Harvey's wreck, hopefully he is doing better. Good thing there was no passenger. Hopefully a lesson to all to leave the racing on the track and not the streets.

Man, I'm speechless, How Horrible. For anyone to come out of that in one piece is a miracle in itself. While out cruising this past weekend had a couple of chances to "Run the Car", but thought about Harvey & Passed. Lets end this.

Wow that thing looks like it was hit by a train. He walked away that is sooo lucky. What a shame that car was really nice.

The Texarkana Texas Police said that they arrested a man yesterday and charged him with felony vehicle racing. According to police, 22-year old Nicholas Jordan Wood from Texarkana, Texas was involved in the accident on March 14th on Kings Highway near Interstate 30 that put a Texarkana Doctor in the hospital. According to the authorities, the Doctor, Dr. Harvey Osborn also from Texarkana was driving a Dodge Viper and Mr. Wood was driving a yellow Chevrolet Corvette. After an investigation, police determined that the two were racing when Osborn lost control of his car and hit a pick-up driven by 19-year old Ashley Ford. Ford had minor injuries. According to police, Osborn is still in the hospital in stable condition and Wood was taken to the B-State Justice building and his bail was set at $20,000. It’s still not clear weather or not Dr. Osborn has or will be charged.

Wow...pics are hard to look at, and even harder to think about how it must have felt to be in the car. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

A miracle he was able to live through that. Glad he is in stable condition. Speedy recovery.

They should both be charged but only get a few months at most, if they get a few years that would be total bs.

No whats total BS is racing on the highway and endangering others, thats BS. Don't race, end of story. I can't load the photos here but from the comments I am sure they are horrible. Hopefully he will walk away from this situation with no permanent issues and a good lesson.

This is exactly why I don't street race anymore. Take it to the track!!!I hope the Doctor recovers fine and has learned a lesson. God must still have a plan for him because normally no one would have walked away from that crash. He is a very lucky man. Street racing is NOT Drag racing.

what about when your on an island in the middle of the ocean and have no track to take it to but still love high end sports cars????????????

This is an unfortunate situation..And I feel for Dr.H and wish him the best..But Americans have been street raceing since what..The 30's???? Not saying it's right...But to me neighter is a bunch of drunk guys hunting in the woods who mistake your mom hanging up clothes for a 10 pointer...

Im just frustrated..As you will say over and over and over again dont street race and take it to the track..Well I gladly would if one was available..But thats not the case...

He is in a coma and there is no sign yet of him coming out of it. As far as the street racing comments go... well we have all heard them before. So please refrain from making them here. Its a dead horse and we know what you have to say already. Thanks.

Looks like that's the black truck he hit in the second pic ? Also looks like the passenger side of both vehicles took the hit head on so they somehow cris-crossed ? It's tough to envision how this happened but it appears that this was about 2 feet and a nano second from a dead center head on...

Hoping for the best with him and his family. It is a shame that we read about these events too often.

Oh damn, that's gotta be some of the worst wreck photos I've seen.

Pray for Harvey to come out of the coma... He has not survived this wreck yet...

Thanks for the update Texas_Venom

Out of respect for Harvey and his family , please remove these pictures from the Forum. Harvey was a frequent contributor, and his struggle is still ongoing and difficult. I think this would be quite detrimental for him or his family to view and this could be a place of refuge while he is recovering, IMHO.

I second what Bill said this has to be very hard for his family or anyone of the involved. Let's send prayers and not dwell on the gore of it all. Hope to hear from you soon Harvey I know you can feel our thoughts and prayers for you.
