Has anyone every polished their intake and gained any hp out of it? I am trying to get some more hp out of my car and there are only a few more things I can do to get more ponies. I want to stay normally aspirated but I would like to get close to 600rwhp. Any thought or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I am not ready to do a stroker. Maybe my goals are too lofty but I think I can get more than what I have.

Define polished.

It should have been extruded during the 650R conversion.
You could go one step further and have the intake cut open and worked on. Or even investigate a new intake.

I still think, based on your Dyno graph, that you have more power to gain on the top end- which should bring up your HP number.

You could also try to replace the springs. I believe that may be a weak link in the valve train. Maybe worth a shot. But, before anything, resolve your power dropoff above 5500. In comparison, I make peak power at 5700 and hold it till 6200. Also, find out if Brad did your heads or someone else for HMS. If it wasn't Brad, then it is not apples to apples.

Regards,
