Possible Problem With Hard Top On 2001 RT/10

Hello everyone. Anyone that can help me I would really appreciate it. I noticed while I was parked that there seems to be a little bit of a break the top on the right side. I can see outside through it but the space must be only about 1/2 an inch in size. I checked the top and it is locked int place but the space does not seem to go away. I noticed that this WAS NOT on the left side but only the right. Does this sounds like a major concern? Should I get this checked by the dealer? Once again any help would be great.

There definitely shouldn't be any gaps on your hard top when it is properly seated and locked in. There is a possibility from what I understand of your description that the latch is in place, but that it has not "grabbed" the post. You might try unlatching both front locks and reseating the hardtop and then latch them again.

If this doesn't work, you should definitely have it looked over by someone who knows how the hardtop latches to the car. I would be careful about driving it, because if it's not properly latched, it can blow off. This has happened to others.

Im with Gary, try latching it again while pulling the hardtop down into place.

Thanks for the information. I tried latching it again but that does not work. I will be taking it to Buhler as soon as possible along with a few other minor things.
