Whoo Hoo, Supposed to be in the low 60's here today and tomorrow. Time for some driving. Funny that's it supposed to be warmer in Denver today than in Miami.

And I went skiing yesterday. :2tu: There has just been no snow on the plains yet this winter. Works for me.

pgbeek, you wouldn't envy our property tax bills, I pay out more in just that one area than some people make in a year :rolaugh::rolaugh:

It costs a ton to live in a place with nice weather!

It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life.~

It's going to be decent here in the northeast corner of the SoCal region. Looks a little dicey on Saturday, though.

Ron & Nora -
We'll have snaps of cool weather here and there as well as a little rain. Seems like all the times we've had any snow flurries since I've lived here have all come in late December and early January. We'll also have snaps of good weather in there as well. Either way, I'm driving the Viper every day.

Just cold in Central Illinois... Upper teens to low twenties for highs and around zero for lows.

We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground (if you asked my wife whe would say it looks more like 9 inches--but that is another story). ;)

We can't always have good weather here in SoCal.
It's been crazy wet with freeways flooding all over the southland.

The weather has been way too nice in Denver this winter.... so far.

I've been driving the Viper for the last few days.

I just got a notice from the local race track due to the weather.

"High Plains Raceway wants to say Thank You and Merry Christmas to all the members of the clubs and our customers who have not only made HPR possible, but have made it very successful in its first two seasons!

It is with great pleasure that the CAMA Board of Directors announces that there will be two FREE days of Open Lapping during the week between Christmas and New Years. "

:headbang: Now that there's an excellent Xmas present.

Rain, rain and more rain through the week. I'm so over this rain, I see how you guys could get depressed over the winter!

Hey, don't you guys need all the water you can get in Cali? I keep hearing you are running out. You guys better get out there with pails and bottles pronto before that stuff disappears into the ground :lmao:

I have always liked you until now... :lmao: I should have taken my accounting degree back in '86 and moved south or west when I was single and had a chance. Now I am pretty much stuck here in Central Illinois... More snow this week. :eater:

We know a bit about good snow too-

Today's Report
Updated 1pm on 12/20/2010

If you dream about fresh tracks and powder runs, live that dream by enjoying anywhere from knee deep to chest deep powder! This storm system is nothing short of amazing! Since Friday, the storm total is 9 feet to 13 1/2 feet of snow! Mammoth received 32” of snow in the last 24 hrs and is expecting at least another 1-2 feet throughout today. This storm  has broken the record of the snowiest December ever recorded since first recording in 1969! Mammoth has also just been named as having the most snow in the World by SkiInfo.com! Take extra precautions if driving up to and around Mammoth as visibility is low.

Snow base depth is 10ft-15.5ft with fresh powder, packed powder, and machine groomed conditions.

And it's not just Mammoth getting all the fluffy stuff...

We are having some really unusual record breaking weather here in the southland with PM T-storms today and heavy downpours tomorrow pails and bottles are to the max already.:crazy2:
