I have not seen a lot of Viper owners put deep dish wheels (ie. ones with a large lip and in-set rim) on their snake.

Here is one I liked on ebay:

Deep dish son

What do you consider deep? The picture you posted is only about a 3" lip or "dish" which as AbsolutHank already mentioned is about the max for the SRT-10.

Are we talking wheels or pizza with all of this dish talk?

I did not realize that the brakes on the SRT-10 limited the possibility of deep deep-dish rims. No big deal. I was just curious as to why I did not see many pics of it.

Not just the brakes... "deeper dish" moves more of the rim to the outside. The mounting point on the hub is a fixed reference. Moving the rim too far outward will not only cause impacts with the fender but look pretty silly as well. In the old-school muscle cars you could narrow the rear axles (among other things) and throw in big honkin' drag wheels, but with the Viper's independent rear suspension, any narrowing would be cost prohibitive and negatively affect the handling of the car. Much "easier" to flare the fenders (at the price of looking weird) for wider and/or deeper wheels with an independent rear suspension such as used on the Viper.

The Testarossa body widening kit looks amazing. I know.....stupid question; but does anybody know of a Viper body kit that flares the rear hips? Even a one off version somebody built. I think it would look killer. I've seen the Hennessey version but is it actually wider?

That's why you can order wheels with different offsets.

No offense but that has to be the most ugly set up I've ever seen on a vette. :crazy2:
