I'm planning to powder coat my brake calipers and valve covers to match my copperhead viper. Do you need to remove the pistons and all the seals before powder coating or not? The shop doing the powder coating said it is up to me. He said most high performance type calipers are fine with the 400 degree temp used during the powdercoat process and it should not hurt the pistons, seals etc. Does anyone have any experience with this? Another question is can I get the "viper" word sticker from Chrysler to put back on the calipers. The powder coater didn't think he could mask over the word and make it look good.
