Has anyone done this before or made something that worked? Also what is that hook to the side of the trunk latch on the RT/10. It is on the deck lid and I can not see a purpose for it. Thanks.
I added one. There is a Viper vendor who sells a kit. Mine is on a 97 GTS. It was designed to put a button in the center console, but I had the button mounted under the dash on the left so I can push it when getting out of the car. I bought the kit from Snake-Oyl ( http://www.viperclub.org/menus/index_market_acc.htm ) or ( http://www.snakeoylproducts.com/ ). I'm not familiar with the RT/10 trunk, so I'm not sure if it will work in your application.
