Question for ACR owners

Hi,
I am thinking about a 2010 ACR. I currently have a 2006 vert with corsa (cats still fitted). As I take my foot off the accelerator, my car has a nice "burble and pops" through the exhaust. Does an ACR sound similar or does the VVT effectively stop it?

I just sold my 06 for a 2010 ACR and mine pops. It pops differently than my 06 but it still does it

The VVT does nothing to affect the decel pop...the only thing that does is the Mopar PCM.

I sold an 06 convertible and moved up to a new 2010 ACR, even if the car sounded differently, an ACR is a totally different car and driving experience. I wouldn't base that decision on how the exhaust sounds....... by the way, you won't regret it.

I have both, the 06 has corsa track exhaust and the ACR has bellanger headers and corsa track, both pop. But the ACR is a LOT louder!

My 2008 acr had lots of burble and pop. Loved it even though I knew it wasn't as 'efficient' in use of fuel. Went with a Belanger setup because I felt the stock setup was too quiet. Adding the Mopar PCM made sure the CEL didn't get triggered but some of the pop went away. Still there but not as much pop. Much better sounding though, overall.

Ive got an 06 coupe and an 09 acr and the acr def has more/louder decel burble.

My 2008 ACR pops and burbles on decel...sounds sweet. Louder than my previous Vipers. And everyone is right...you won't be sorry you own an ACR. It's like nothing else I have ever driven.

I am getting the ACR (hopefully). The decel pop question was one my wife asked me and I didnt know the answer
