Question on cleaning 3M clear guard

Ok, tried JM suggestion and took an orbital to it. 1st tried plastic polish....nothing. Next broke out some polishing compound and it was working but slow. Finally got out some rubbing compound and got probably 80-90% of it out. Looks way better and less noticeable.

oops sorry. Yes used an orbital and the agent does not have enough cutting power, however it did diminish the amount. Still working to remvce, but it seems to be making progress. will try a harsher compund in the next few days. I need some more Griot's products.

Remember, you have to step down that aggressive compound with a lighter polish or the area will look dull instead of shiny. That's why I suggest something like M105 and M205. Keeps the job simple.

What works best to get rubber from the race track off the clear bra?

Really depends on what material is on the car. Some films can handle harsher chemicals while others cant. Do you know what film you had installed?
