On the side of my 1998 GTS stock amp, there is a switch on the side by the green LD light that has R and C. What is that switch for?

I just added a subwoofer in my Viper and it rattles pretty good. What did you find that was rattling? Mine sounds like it's coming from the rear trunk vents and from inside the rear fascia. How did you make your Viper rattle free? The glass doesn't seem to rattle....any advice?

Check the tail lights - I had to stuff a few small chunks of heavy black foam on to the top and bottom of each light assembly to damp them. You can verify by pressing hard w/ one hand on one light and pounding the rear bumber with the other first. If the rattling reduces w/ your hand on, bingo. Mine is very quiet now though I am looking for good quality sound and have not cranked the sub up beyond a flat response.

Did you use Dynomat Extreme? I haven't got any rattle at all from my sub. Is your box TOTALLY flush & secure in the hatch? Sounds more like the placement of the box IMHO.

I'm using 8" bazooka tubes. It sounds great plus keeps the car light too. Just on the outside, it sounds like the car vibrating from within the rear fascia. What about spray on foam on the insides?
