I have a few quick questions, as I've never seen an SRT in person and been able to sit in one: how tall are you, how high is the belt line while you're seated, and is the interior cramped with the top up? How good is forward visibility, can you see a stoplight while seated naturally?

5'10" Top of the doors does not seem different than a Gen I/II. Interior seems more open than a RT/10. Especially for the feet. Forward visibility is okay. Not the greatest and stop light visibility has its problems. The RT/10 wasn't much better but the windshield header does seem bigger in the SRT. Rearward visibility though is surprisingly worse. the height of the roof when stowed is higher than the RT/10 and I have not found a good mirror vantage point.

I assume your problems with rear visibility are with the top up and down... If you were, say, 4 inches taller do you think it would significantly change your rearward view?

Mostlt top down. I seldom drive top up. And, with owning an RT/10, I am probably insensitive to visibility issues with the top up :)

2 inch higher eye position may worsen forward visibility but improve stop light vision (above the windshield). I do not know how it would impact rear visibility.

I'm 5'11" and feel like a tiny boost upward in the seat would improve overall visibility. The guy who sold me the car was 6'4" (I think) and he couldn't fit in it with the top up.

My biggest complaint about vis is the rearward left driver shoulder with the top up. You're basically just using your mirrors to change lanes to your left with the top up.

I hope a 6'2" guy like myself can fit... I'd hate to take delivery and have to immediately sell it.

6'3" fit good in all 3 vipers my left knee hits the light switch on the GTS but not the RT/10. SRT fits well have to bend down to see traffic lights in all.

I took delivery of my SRT 10 never actually sitting in the new body style, so I can relate to the angst you are going through. I am over 6'3" and fit like a glove with both the top up and down. You will need to dip your head at traffic lights, every other view is spot on.

Enjoy!
