R/T 10 top......blowes off ?????

I was told by my Viper Tech. that my top can blow off at speeds over 100MPH. Is this true? If so why no mention of it in owner's manuel,

I hit 147 with my soft-top on Alligator Alley in Fla., with no problem.

I've been 165,100+ countless times.Some hard tops need to be adjusted tight.The odds of a top blowing off are comparible to a street race with a neon.Possible, not likely.

Your Tech is correct! It MAY blow off over a hundred!

After all it is a Roadster - No Top & No Windows!
The top is just there to get you out of trouble in foul weather!
I've seen a top that came off over a hunderd, what a mess it made of the Trunk Lid!!
You guys/gals that are going that fast with the soft top you must have "Lady Luck" on your side.
It only has to happen once!

When I went in to get a new soft-top under warranty (where I mentioned a pop-up in the rear section while at 65ish on the highway), the dealership people said I was in the wrong because it says in the manual that you're not supposed to drive over 40ish with the soft-top on, LOL! I didn't say that that # was d*mb*ssness as I wanted the top replaced, which they did.

So where does it say a top speed for either the soft-top or hard-top (and what are the #s)? I couldn't find anything on it in the manual and don't recall anything on it in the video...
