Race video of my other Mopar! 68 Barracuda

I had a grudge match with a mach1 with a built 428 last friday. He has 422 rwhp and a 4 speed. I have a 340 stroked to a 416. The ford guy's we talkin a lot of smack, I mean a lot of smack. There was about 6 of them ginning when I got ready to run the Mach1. Well the video's tell the rest. I'm in the near lane.

Run 1 was my worst ever with a 11.4 to his 12.08 it was 90 degree's so I went back and did a little tuning for race 2. Ran 11.31 at 117.48. His time was about the same as his first run. When I got back to the pit's the grinning was over.

Hey Viper1994,

What software are you using to convert you DV into WMV files?

I have a new Sony DV handycam and I am having a [******] of a time converting the video. In fact, I haven't found a way to get the video from tape to my PC. No problem getting the video from a memory card to the PC, but not from tape to PC, even through the USB port. I'm getting frustrated and the manual doesn't say how to do it other than to record the DV to the memory chip and then download it from the chip. Unfortunately I have an 8MB chip (came with it) right now, so I need to go get one of those 512MB chips.

Look at Wintv by Hauppauge. They have a usb unit that will let you download tapes from a camera. Got mine from Circuit City

you need to get a fire wire!! My usb will only do still photo's. I had the same problem. Why in the world don't they give you a fire wire with the camera, downloading video's is the only reason I would buy one!! As far as software I got a program from a friend who knows WAY more about computers than me and he walked me through it and hosted it for me. I'm computer stupid!

Awesome, put those ford guys where they belong. Unlike most guys in here I am not only a viper fan but a HUGE mopar fan. MOPAR OR NO CAR.

Roger that on the Mopars...I do like Fords, strongly dislike GM junk.

Proud former owner of more Mopars (and Mustangs) than I can recall. 68 Hemi Charger, 71 hemicuda, over a dozen 440 4 speed 68 Chargers (68s are my favorites).

I came to Vipers via the Mopar muscle route vice the sports car route. I love the old big blocks but I do like the turns these days, gotta say...
