Radar detectors

I remember someone doing that about a year ago. If I recall, mounting the rear sensor was the real pain. Don't think you will have any heat problems. Just problems with finding places where you can mount the sensors.

I'm getting ready to install a Beltronics remote radar detector. There's plenty of room for the unit and antenna/remote detectors. Heat shouldn't be a problem.

I plan to put the radar antenna behind the front facia as I saw on another local Viper. This would make it virtually undetectable. The laser detectors have to have visible line-of-sight so I'll probably mount the front one in the lower opening of the front facia and the rear one on the "ledge" behind my seat (I have an RT/10).

I'm looking for a stealth location to mount the "head unit" because I go into Virginia a lot where radar detectors are illegal. Still working out the details.
