went to the track today and ran 10.9@131mph with a 1.8 60ft on BFG Drag Radials. first run i smoked the drag radials all through out first gear and rana 11.4@127 Probably could of had it run a faster time but couldnt run again since i have no cage. ROE SC's rock and tators dodge kiks ***.

Get a roll bar, 3.55's, and launch in 2nd gear

Get a roll bar, 3.55's, and launch in 2nd gear

Keep the 3.07 and just practice. Your times will get even better. No need to launch in 2nd gear. With the 3.07 you wont' be shifting as much. Besides the Roe puts so much power off the line the 3.55's will be much harder to get traction. Great times it's only gonna get better.

He who launchs in second gear too many times will double his drive line parts - I saw this published on a works by Confuscis.

time get the freakin gas in and get some 17 inch rims.I

bet my life you will hit 10.2-10.4..your 60 was so so but

you get it to 1.55 you will get those numbers with no

problems

10's on street tires is awsome! Did you add more fuel or take out some more timing? I would have guessed a car making close to 750wheel would trap higher than 131. Maybe some of the Roe drag guys can chime in on the MPH. Etherway great run!

This is a weird question. But look at JUCD numbers. He is running less horses and his ET is 10.66 ? Not knocking it down but D has to be much better then that with practice and the right rubber....Like I said I think D can go lo 10's with no problem....

D should be able to run low 10's with his #'s on street tires. Would need a 1.5x sixty with BFG's that shouldn't be to hard.

Great numbers,can't wait to see where they will go
as your 60ft times drop. One question you said the track
stopped your fun,why did you run to fast or to quick?
If that is the case did they have any corvettes that
they asked to stop???

BLACKNBLACK~ Comes from about 8 year of drag racing experience in my Mustang. I ran the [email protected] on the small shot puttin like 530hp 720 torque, myself and my tuner Joe Donavan think if i shoot the car with the pills that put 600/820 to the wheels then i can pull a 10.30 easily. PLUS i run the same drag radials as dimitrios and i pulled a 1.55 60' and i think i could have done better. BUt just like him i made one pass the 10.66 and i was booted of the track. Heck i only drove the viper for 10 days after coming home on leave before taking it and shooting it at the track, after really getting used to the car i'll do even better.
I wanna race Domitrios since he beat PLUMCRAZY

on a track you obviosuly got something for D. on the street from 40mph-50mph and up....NOPE, not gonna happen. that damn RWHP of his is too much.

Many Many Congrats! What else can I say your driving skills are getting better and better and your car is getting faster. Who can predict how fast your going to be in the future. 10.9 is awesome on street tires @ E town. God, what will slicks and skinnies do at Atco? Can't wait to see the numbers. Jeff's got a set of wheels and tires if you need. I'll have to bring anti depressant medication for whoever races you at ATCO. I'll also have to get you a parachute for Christmas, you'll be needing one before you know it.

Great job D!!! I remember way back when, when you weren't a horsepower ******. I think you said something like the car was fast enough stock. Glad to hear you are stepping it up!
How did you end up sorting out the detonation problem?

Congrats D Awesome times, that car is a f*ckin BEAST I knew it when I heard it at Tators tech session, with practice I bet that car can run 9's.
