Ran the new Kumho Ecsta X at the track

Tried out the new Kumho Ecsta X at the track last week and was able to WOT in second and not spin the tires. This is my first Viper which I purchased about 3 weeks ago so not much experience to pull from but they are a major upgrade over the run flats that were on it. My 60ft went from a 2.1 to a 1.8

Is it very friendly in the rain? (My Viper is my daily driver). I can't wait for a comparison to the Nitto Invo's. The Invo's are supposed to be my new tire in 2 months, we'll see...

Are you running 275 18 fronts? If so, are the XS a lot wider than the stockers?

Invos are good daily driver tires and porbably better than the run carps but that isn't saying much. I'm very close to a tuning shop for EVO's and they got free Invo's (sponsored by Nitto) on their shop EVO but after one track day they ditched the Invo's for Dunlop Star Specs and even the Dunlops were much superior. I'm replacing my Nitto NT01 (DOT semi-slicks which are much sticker than the Invo's) on my EVO with XS's this weekend and will be able to compare these two soon.
