Rear end help

Just wondering why there are 2 drain plugs on the bottom of the rear.

Sounds reasonable. Service manual does say squat. Just says "drain fluid" but doesn't say which hole or if it makes a difference.

Dont believe it could make any difference, both go to the same place.
