I'm doing the clutch on my '04 with ~75k miles. I don't have service history on the car. Rear main seal looks dry, only oil seems to be from the flywheel bolts coming out. I already have a seal...anyone have opinions on whether I should replace or just leave it alone? Debating the same about the pilot bearing if there are opinions on that as well.

I would not replace these unless there is some leakage. The design of the factory seal is good. Pressing the new seal in the old retaining
plate can cause issues if not done right.

The flywheel bolts should be replaced.

Thank you so much for the info! Currently trying to find new flywheel bolts, but even the viper-specific vendors don't seem to have options. If anyone knows a source, it would be much appreciated. Same for pressure plate bolts, one of which rounded off a bit when removing.
