Rear view door mirror loose

Hey all,

I had my 06 cpe in storage for a while and had the passenger door mirror folded in. When I pulled it back to normal there was no tension or resistance like what you feel when twisting it and its not secure.
Is there a spring or hardware on the backside that I can get to if removing the door panel ?

Matt, the mirror is basically 1 piece, I don't think you can take it apart. I rarely move the mirror in so I've never had that problem.

You can remove the glass but I don't know if that would help you. Plenty of nice used ones on ebay and facebook, good luck, Mike

Thanks RT….. Found a new race yellow on eBay. Viper tax for sure but I am glad ones available

Great for you Matt!. Now that you have a good mirror, try and take the old one apart and see what broke
