I had a little mishap over the weekend - was driving my '09 ACR in the hills, hit a deer, and overcorrected into the side of the road. The insurance company is going to take the car to one of their inspection stations, but before they do that, I was wondering if anyone has some advice on whether I should have the car taken to a good body/repair shop and then have the insurance guy just inspect it there. Seems like the less the car gets towed around the better... This is my first accident ever, so I'm not sure what the best process is for dealing with the claim. Any advice is really appreciated.
