Ron,

5600 rpm is all you need to go. You will not make power past 5300 rpm and torque is done at 4400 rpm. Make your pulls in 4th gear starting at about 2700 rpm(make sure drivetrain is warmed up as the dynojet 248 is ******* clutches)

Good luck, you should see 405-410 at 450 on the torque. We just finished a dyno day last saturday with over 20 vipers participating from bone stock to modified with nitrous.

Just so you know the computer in a dyno jet figures the proper engine dynamics/ratios so it can be run in any gear, this is self evident because not every person is running the same rear end gear. Most shops that dyno like to use a gear that will allow quick, no lug, acceleration. the dyno jet is also capable of showing the difference in acceleration, (which mod worked the best). Not all the time does a small hp. or tq. gain mean an improvement at the drag strip.
