Everyone mentions Zaino, and Ive never heard of it before this message board and the Vette message board. What makes it so great? Ive used many Zymol products and have found them to be great, except for the extremely long time it takes to get the wax off.

I agree with Gerald...if you have a black Viper...just get used to them...I don't care what wax you use (and I've tried them all) you are always gonna have them. Out of habit...whenever I see a dark or black car in parking lots, I usually check for swirls. 99.9% of them have swirls 100 times worse than on my Viper. And yes...even brand new cars or fairly new ones.

Black's a *****. you'll always have some swirls, here's what I found:

3M Swirl Mark Remover for dark colored cars (part #39009) is VEEEEERY abrasive. I tried it once and will not use it again.

The best thing I found to do is wax it once a week whether she needs it or not with Zaino Z5. Wash it yourself and only use 100% cotton towels.

NEVER go to a carwash even an all hand wash one, and under any circumstances never ever let the dealer wash it after a service, they dry it with sand paper.

Meguier's Polish Step #2 works great. I use it once a year and then do the whole Zaino process.

The one everybody seems to use is the 3m swirl remover. The Meg. #2 is for buffer use only as they say on there web site.

I would like to thank "Zaino" Steve for his magic on my car just a little time and patience and everything looks perfect. A tiny bit of 3m swirl remover, and some Zaino Z5 and it was out of there. Thanks Guys for all the replys.
