Well, I'm back again because the problem is still unresolved. Would someone venture a guess as to how much less a '94 R/T 10 would be worth if it were determined a fender had been repaired with bondo. The car is otherwise pristine. Thanks for all your past help.

"Diminished Value" is the insurance industry weasel-word for this dilemma......The best answer: "It Depends"

Was the car wrecked / bondoed?

Was this a parking lot nick or a vandalizd gouge?

To what extent? ie a silver-dollar size piece vs. a 2' section?

Concealed Wreck damage carries a darker stigma than superficial repairs.......

IF YOU ARE A VCA MEMBER: Call me to discuss....I have been involved in 3 "D.V." claims for VCA members that netted a payment.

There are a lot of vipers you'll find with body repair. That's what you find when you buy used. The only time you can be sure there's been no body work is to buy a new car. I've bought many used cars and if I find there has been any damage I make sure the price is appropriate.
