Anyway, the only reason I went to that auto x was to break in my new wheels & tares, which actually cause the car to push, with some pretty violent snap oversteer when you try to bring the rear around on tight turns. I can't say fo sho, but pretty sure I could have easily beaten you guys on my cheap street kuhmos just like i did on the new race tires.

sho did, but there are a lot of factors involved, like it was raining like hell when we set up the course, then it was changed after I left, and to be honest I DNF'd the first 2 runs cuz I was so hung over I couldn't remember it, but I don't make excuses. Cheat, run the course ahead of time, run race tires whatever, to me the times tell the story. I only made 4 runs and left at lunch the other guys got 8 so that would also make up for whatever cheating I did. I think what is fair is fair, do what you can to win, bring whatever tires you got and let the times tell the tale, don't make excuses.

You can smack talk all you want... I welcome it :) Just don't mislead people into thinking that you are the $hit without giving them the whole story. Talking trash and talking trash with class are two different things. Sure, you won that day by a slim margin, with several HUGE advantages (race tires, pre-running the course). Personally, I thought you should have won by more on race tires alone, let alone if you hadn't have run the course before. If you really think that "what is fair is fair, do what you can to win, bring whatever tires you got and let the times tell the tale," why do you always complain when Tony whips up on all of us, supercharger or not?

I'm sure you are a great guy in person, Tim, so don't let your persona behind the keyboard make others think otherwise...

WHOA WHOA WHOAAAA! The truth comes out! You mean all that smack timz has been saying (on here and the vette forums) about how the z06 is so much faster than a Viper and this is how he proved it? Running race tires and pre-running the course and he still only won by such a slim margin??? That's lame, very lame. Compare apples to apples and the viper comes out ahead of the zzzz06 9 x out of 10. Compare apples to oranges (as you have done) and you will get mixed results. Just don't mislead people as you have been doing.
