I built the bottom end of my motor a few years ago and am now looking for some more power. If I recall correctly, the motor is at 10.5:1 compression now-would I be asking for trouble by sticking a roe on it?

Yes you are asking for trouble, only remotely safe roe way possible would be low boost 6 lbs, with water **** injection and a PERFECT tune. I still wouldn't recommend it though. Only choice I'd recommend on the engine would be nitrous, but I've never been a nitrous fan myself.

thats a bit high for boost. it CAN be done but........ you the rest. like said above, with a dead on tune and no room for error.

a call to greg good would help. who built the engine ? call them ?

ART built it-I'm going to call them tomorrow to discuss.

I was thinking that I'd be pushing it a bit much . . .

If you run a healthy shot of **** injection I think you'd be okay assuming the tuning was done well. Adding a decent octane booster or some race gas would be a really good idea if you go this route.

You can take the heads off and open up the chamber to lower the compression. Call Greg Good for the options on this.

A good tuner and an AEM, or something like it can get you there. There are plenty of cars with 12:1 compression running around with forced induction. Or like some others have suggested a healthy amount of **** injection would work very well also.
