Can you elaborate on the VEC-1 in terms of performance improvements? Dyno runs in the baseline vs. VEC-1 configuration, etc.?

I've got one and love it. I bought it in St. Louis at VOI6 and had Sean install it there. You can definitely feel the difference. Much less stumble and feels like more torque. Do a search for "vec" and you'll find lots of posts.
