I see the GTSR right on the heels of the ZR1. Major accomplishment in a very short time. Did the powers that be back off on the neutering of the motor, so it can actually breath? It would be interesting to see the times of one completely uncorked.

They did open the restrictors, a bit. They are still laughably small. Imagine breathing through a straw while running a marathon

Superb analogy ---running a marathon while breathing through a straw ( and one that was collapsed at that, ha).

Musically , everyone else has intakes the size of a tuba , and we are trying force air through an Oboe!

Bomarito is said to be ripping it up , and he always did well in a Mazda RX-8. Looks like a bit of torque is to his liking!?!

And it was awesome to see Bomarito kick some butt at TWS in GTU recently. This guy can drive !!

Apparently the Vette folks are even cheering them on a bit...everyone wants the American rivalry again. I think they should be happy with the progress. They put a car half a second off pole. Congrats!

If this is a card game like I suspect...well played SRT!!!...well played.

As of now, the GTS-R (driven by Farnbacher) has the fourth fastest best lap time, only 0.315 second behind best in class.

See it here: http://scoring.alms.com/#class=gtc,gte-am,p1,p2,pc,unc

Great job SRT!

The second GTS-R spent over 2 hours in the pits so far but still running.

The Nissan DeltaWing who started last is now in sixth overall position, very impressive.

That thing flipped too easily. Maybe a bad idea this delta wing thing.
