I would just take it compleately apart, clean everything, only replace the parts that couldn't be cleaned, put it back together. i bet it would cost a lot less than their estimate.

I saw that one. You can get rebuilt salvage for a couple grand more, not worth it. Saw a local 03 rebuilt salvage go for 25k. I bet that 20k bid is a false bid.

Flood cars would make great race cars if purchased for the right price. Who cares about interior, motor will most likely be gone through anyway, wiring is dwindled down to the bare minimum so you know that had to gone through also and as far as the rest of the electronics go, how much does anyone honestly leave in a race car.
