I don't know if you folks are familiar with the Sandhills Open Road Challenge up in Nebraska.
It's an open road race where they shut down a state road and you get to race on it.
Unlike open road races like the Silver State series, this particular Nebraska road is seriously twisty. It is like driving your car on a a roller coaster track.
There is also a standing one mile drag race the day before the road race.
All this takes place in August.
The race usually sells out almost 11 months ahead of time, but they had 6 cancellations, so there are a few spots available. (but they won't last long)
This is one of the most fun (and scary) things you can do in a car.
I would encourage anyone who's interested to sign up.
