IIRC, past posts mentioned scuffing rotors to remove residue before installing EBC Green pads in order to enable them to operate properly, i.e., to eliminate squeaking and brake dust. Am I recalling this correctly? Also, is this just necessary when switching from stock to EBC pads, or from any pad to EBC pads? Currently I have brake man #3s (i.e., "brake dust #3s" LOL)...
Anything else I should be aware of regarding pad swaps?
