Seat Lowering

With the one inch seat lowering kit (Gen 1) can I still move my seat as normal? I think I read somewhere that the 2 inch set makes it impossible to move the seat. With my trunktop I need another inch of room. I love this site you guys (and gals) are great!!! Thanks.

I have the 1" lowering kit in mine and the seat seems fully adjustable. one of the best mods to date. I am only 5'11" and I fit perfect.

Yes, with the 1" kit, I believe they just take the rails and shorten the "feet" an inch (that's how it looks anyway), but the slide rails are still in tact and unobstructed. With the 2" kit (which I recently put on), the seat is just bolted to the floor (which is perfect for me at 6'4")

Tators did mine last month. Travel is the same and it is great to be 1 " lower

The adjustability of the 1" kit is not quite as much forward as the OE seat rails. Likely not a problem though.

Why would I know this about the travel? When I put the shift beeper in my rear bulkhead I had to undo the seat belts behind the seats. The drivers seat with the 1" kit would not travel enough to get to the bolt and I had to unbolt the seat and tilt it forward.

Passenger side was gravy.

Call JonB @ Partsrack. I thought they were on the website at one time, but I couldn't find them just now. I *think* he stocks the 1" kit for around the $329 range if my memory serves me correctly (but don't quote me on that one).

I think your memory is a little off. More like $259 + $16 shipping.
