I test drived a few vipers at dealerships before i purchased..You better belieave I beat the hell out of them just like that on back roads with the sales man hanging on for deal life with a big grin...

Just fire the kid..No reason for a criminal record over somthing like this..Now if he actually busted glass or a door ect. to steal the keys thats differant.

Stealing keys is stealing keys, regardless if they are in a lock box or a zip-lock bag. They were not his.

Off to jail you go. ;)

His next job will be a valet driver. He has already shown he has the skills, and drives exactly like them.

Anyone who valet parks their cars, especially performance cars, be wary :)

Press charges and teach this little puke a lesson! It's maggots like this that get away with s**t that leads other losers to think they can get away with it also. Maybe he will learn his lesson..... probably not.....

What charges can you press, the security guard is 'in charge' of the cars. Its his job to watch them. The job may say, no driving, but it not criminal if he does. This is a civil matter between all parties. It would be in MO anyway. States are different.

The YouTube post has had 88,547 views. Great free advertising for the Corvette and the ZR1 in particular. Not a bad thing since Corvette sales are way down. Did anyone notice how well the camera was placed, etc.? This together with the "Rocky" like ending makes me wonder if this was just a publicity stunt.

Corvette ZR1 Fun
This is the video of a Manheim Auto Auction Dallas security guard abusing a nearly new, and not his, ZR1 that ended up at Woodhouse Chrysler-Dodge ...

Car sure sounds real good! He will need to savor that sound as in the future it will sound much better than the sloppy sounds he will hear in the middle of the night when in the slammer.

The only thing he did stupid was post it on youtube lol

People need to lighten up, he got a chance to drive one of his dream cars. What did he do speed and do a donut in a parking lot? Is the car not meant for that?

I believe he should be fired because it wasn't his property, and that be a bad reputation on the dealership if he wasn't but criminal charges? Calm down. If he crashed it then that be a whole different story.
